On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) published the schedule for the 2023 World Cup, as well as the ten locations for the big event, which will take place over 46 days later this year. There will be ten venues in total, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The warm-up matches will take held in Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad from September 29 to October 3.
The first semi-final will be place in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 15, and the second semi-final will be held in Kolkata the following day. There will be a reserve day for both semi-finals.
The Final will be held on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with November 20 designated as a reserve day.
India, who is hosting the tournament, will kick off their campaign against five-time World Cup champion Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Pakistan, on the other hand, will play their first match against the winner of the first qualifier on October 6 in Hyderabad.
The tickets will be available next week, with only three months till the major event. Despite the lack of an official announcement, it is widely assumed that the tickets will be available to fans on July 1. Fans from all around the world can book hotel and travel arrangements appropriately.
Tickets for the 2023 World Cup will go on sale starting in the first week of July, according to the ICC.
The prices and platforms for the 2018 edition of the major event have yet to be announced by ICC, but previous records indicate that tickets will be available on PayTM, PayTM Insider, and the Book My Show app.
Tickets are also anticipated to be available through the ICC’s official app and website. Tickets for the Qualifiers are already available on the ICC app and website.
