Last month, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023. During the big event, the iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata will host five matches, including one semi-final. Snehasish Ganguly, the CEO of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), has revealed the rates of World Cup tickets.
All matches at the venue are priced between INR 650 and INR 3000.
Notably, the historic venue will host five matches: Netherlands vs. Bangladesh, Pakistan vs. Bangladesh, India vs. South Africa, England vs. Pakistan, and the second semi-final. Tickets for the first game (Netherlands vs Bangladesh) start at INR 650, while tickets for the fourth game (England vs Pakistan) and second game (Pakistan vs Bangladesh) start at INR 800 and go up to INR 2200.
Tickets for the India-South Africa game and the second semi-final, on the other hand, ranging from INR 900 to 3000. Notably, during the 2011 ODI World Cup in India, Kolkata was unable to host the India vs. England match owing to incomplete construction.

Eden Gardens could host the high-octane India vs Pakistan match in the 2018 ODI World Cup.
However, in the 2018 edition, the ancient stadium will host several high-profile matches, including a semi-final between India and Pakistan. According to the schedule, India will play their semi-final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. If they face Pakistan in the semi-finals, they will play at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 14.
The two nations previously met in the quarter-finals of the 1996 World Cup, which India won by 39 runs in Bengaluru. The 2011 World Cup also included an epic match between India and Pakistan in the semi-finals, which India won by 29 runs. Snehasish Ganguly has claimed that a match between India and Pakistan in the semi-finals would be a dream match.
The two sides will square off on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during the league stage.
